Sister projects!

A local community college runs, among other fabulous programming, a Minnesota Master Naturalist certification course that often collaborates with Cedar Creek on capstone projects. This spring was no exception! Student Beth Sipe was inspired by a whole-class assignment about Eyes on the Wild, and with help from Professor Jennifer Braido came up with an awesome "sister" project using trail cameras to help young learners investigate a local woodland with trail cameras. She worked with fourth graders at Randolph Heights Elem and set up a study using some of the college's camera traps in the Como Woodland/Audubon Woods. Below is her final project presentation!

Thanks for sharing this neat project with us, Beth and Jen! We love seeing how Eyes on the Wild inspires other educators, students and wildlife enthusiasts!
